Education:
1977-82
- Leeds University. BA(Hons) Fine Art.
Statement
Buildings,
crowds and Italian Renaissance art have been a rich source
of inspiration.
I have also produced paintings, drawings and ceramics based
on my travels to Florence, as well as Mumbai, Mysore and Madurai
in India.
Observation
and memory are active components in my work. Imaginative compositions
recall the murals of early Italian art and I am drawn to that
feeling of timelessness so evident in their art.
